Cookie Policy

Effective Date: July 30, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Xpertz.io uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit xpertz.io, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how you can control it. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers everything else we do with personal information.

If you only want to change your settings, open the cookie preferences panel from the link in our footer. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, and it takes effect immediately.

What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. When you come back, the browser sends that file to the site, so the site can recognize the session, remember a setting, or count the visit.

This policy also covers technologies that behave like cookies without being cookies:

  • Pixels and tracking beacons. A one pixel image or a script that reports a page view or a form submission back to an advertising platform.
  • Local storage and session storage. Browser storage that holds data on your device without sending it back automatically on every request.
  • Software development kits. Code from an analytics or advertising vendor embedded in our pages.

Everywhere this policy says "cookies," it means all of the above.

The Cookies We Use

We group cookies into four categories. Only the first category loads before you make a choice.

Strictly Necessary

These keep the site working. They handle security, load balancing, and remembering the consent choice you made. You cannot turn them off through our preference panel because the site cannot run without them. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

Analytics

These tell us which pages people read, how they got there, and where they leave. We use the data in aggregate to decide what to build and what to rewrite. Nothing here targets ads. Legal basis: your consent.

Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited. Google's own description of this processing is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Advertising

These let us measure whether an ad campaign produced a lead and let advertising platforms show our ads to people who visited the site. This category involves sharing an identifier with Google and Meta. Legal basis: your consent.

Functional

These remember choices you make, such as a form you started or a preference you set. If you block them, the site works but forgets what you told it. Legal basis: your consent.

Cookies Set by Embedded Content

Some pages embed video from YouTube. When an embed loads, YouTube can set its own cookies under google.com and youtube.com, and we do not control them. Our embeds use the privacy enhanced domain, which delays cookie setting until you press play. YouTube's practices are described at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.

How to Control Cookies

Our preference panel. The fastest route. Open the cookie settings link in the footer, toggle any category except Strictly Necessary, and save. Your choice is stored for 12 months or until you clear your browser.

Your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. The controls are documented by each vendor:

Blocking everything at the browser level will break parts of this site and most other sites you use.

Vendor level opt outs. Google offers ad personalization controls at myadcenter.google.com and a browser add on for Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Meta ad settings live inside your Facebook or Instagram account.

Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or extension sends GPC, we treat it as a request to opt out of sharing personal information for targeted advertising, and we apply it to that browser without you needing to do anything else. We do not respond to the older Do Not Track header, which never settled into an agreed standard.

Your Rights Under US State Privacy Laws

Advertising cookies involve sharing an identifier with Google, Meta, and LinkedIn so those platforms can measure and target ads. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, and under comparable laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and other states, that counts as sharing for cross context behavioral advertising even though no money changes hands.

You can opt out through the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our footer, through the preference panel, or by sending GPC. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not process the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16.

Changes to This Policy

We update this page when we add, remove, or replace a tool that sets cookies. The effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes to the advertising category will re prompt consent for visitors in the EEA and the UK.
